Women in Planning Lunch and Learn - From Idea to Impact: Kate Parker's Journey to Transform Public Art
WPN(WA) invites you to an inspiring National Lunch & Learn with art consultant and strategist Kate Parker, as she shares her journey of turning a gap in the system into a bold new business.
Faced with the challenges of managing public art across our cities, Kate took the leap to design and launch Charter—an innovative digital platform transforming how public art is catalogued, maintained, and celebrated. But behind the tech is a powerful story of backing herself, building something from the ground up, and creating space for better cultural and civic outcomes.
This session is designed for women in planning and allied professions who are curious about starting their own ventures, want to learn from real-world experience, and are looking for inspiration to pursue their own ideas. Join us to hear how Kate identified a need, carved out a niche, and brought Charter to life—proving what’s possible when women lead with purpose.
