Catriona Tatam MPIA
Catriona is an experienced urban and regional planner and the founder of Tatam Planning Co., a consultancy delivering town-planning, development feasibility and project-management services throughout the Northern Territory and Northern Australia.
With over a decade of experience across both public and private sectors - including Western Australia, Queensland, New South Wales and the NT - Cat brings a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking and practical delivery capability.
A proud Territorian for more than ten years and originally from Perth, Cat’s work is driven by a passion for planning for inclusive, resilient and high-quality places, and supporting planning excellence in regional Australia.
Cat has previously served as the President of the Planning Institute of Australia Northern Territory Division (2019-2021; 2023-2025) and formerly held the role of CEO of the Urban Development Institute of Australia Northern Territory (2021-2023), leading advocacy for quality development and industry collaboration across the north.
