We are moving to strengthen the credibility of PIA's professional membership, by creating a new membership benchmark that is of equivalent professional standing to other Australian professional bodies and overseas planning associations. We believe that there is currently a strong case for change for PIA and we need to act now to continue to be effective for the profession.
The nature of the new membership benchmark and the form and level of the assessment required to transition to it is currently in the process of being developed. The overall aim is to elevate the standing of PIA members through this process and create a new benchmark for PIA membership that holds a higher level of professional credibility.
