Join us on a journey that weaves together the rich traditions of First Nations history, the regeneration of our built heritage and Bunbury’s evolving identity. Walk with us and discover the stories that shaped Bunbury –the City of three waters.

RAC’s Alix Oakes (Manager, Transport Planning and Policy) and Amanda Scotland (Transport and Land Use Planner), will co-present with the City of Bunbury, a hands-on Healthy Streets workshop. Healthy Streets is a practical framework that recentres street design on the needs of people walking and cycling. It supports better decisions across maintenance, capital works, design, and new infrastructure, helping to create streets where people feel safe, comfortable, and happy to spend time. The workshop will be a fantastic opportunity to network with other professionals and to test the application of this framework. Workshop activities include: •An introduction to the range of Healthy Streets resources including the phone-based assessment and Design Check •Putting theory into practice with a walk along a street in Bunbury to measure, photograph and collect data •Group sessions to develop improvement concepts based on Healthy Streets indicators •Real time testing of how the proposed concepts impact the Design Check score
