Presenter

Ben Krastins
Senior Associate: Transport, Ratio Consultants

Ben is a transport engineer turned planner, who has been at the forefront of applying the Movement and Place framework in Victoria since its emergence in circa 2019.
Using insights from his time working in Local Government, Ben works closely with Councils across Victoria, bringing together stakeholders and exploring innovative (and often creative) ways of applying Movement and Place to strategic planning and design projects.
Ben regularly presents on Movement and Place at industry seminars, conferences, training courses, Councillor groups and project working groups.

Harry Jorgensen
Senior Transport Planner, Ratio Consultants

Harry is a transport planner who sees streets as far more than just roads designed for moving vehicles from A to B as quickly as possible.
His approach to Movement and Place adopts a human-focused lens, recognising the important role streets play in supporting social interaction, enhancing local trade, and balancing competing transport modes within constrained road environments.
Harry has extensive experience undertaking Movement and Place assessments in both urban and regional contexts and enjoys providing transport justification to support meaningful placemaking opportunities.
