No Maps, Just Moves: Real planning skills and real insights

Event Outline

The SA Emerging Planners Committee is excited to present the third Emerging Planners Forum, a full day event bringing together early-career planners, para-planners and built environment students for a day of learning, ideas and connection.

This year’s theme will focus on what planning really looks like in practice and the skills needed to navigate it. Hear from planners across the public and private sectors as they share real-world experiences, practical skills, and key insights in housing delivery, infrastructure readiness and building meaningful planning careers.

The day will finish with an interactive workshop on City of Adelaide's Adaptive Reuse City Housing Initiative (ARCHI) led by Ellen Liebelt, offering a hands-on look at planning, design, heritage and adaptive reuse in practice.

After the forum, continue the conversation at a relaxed networking session with drinks and light snacks, and a chance to connect with others in the profession.

Whether you are just starting out or looking to build your experience, this forum is designed to be practical, relevant, and genuine.

Para Planners - please contact PIA SA to register you and include any dietaries.
