Please join our Sunshine Coast Branch as we come together for a guided walk of Maroochydore City Centre in recognition of Jane Jacob's legacy. 

The tour will be lead by Sophie Marshall, Principal Planner of Walker Corporation. Sophie will also provide the first 20 people to register with a bird’s eye view of the CBD from the rooftop of Walker’s building.

What is Jane's Walk?

Inspired by Jane Jacobs, a pioneering urbanist who championed walkable, people-centred cities, Jane’s Walks are free, community-led events held globally in early May, designed to bring people together to discuss what makes great places. Whether you’re a city planner, local history buff, architecture enthusiast, or just someone who loves their neighbourhood, this walk is for you!
