PIA (Vic) manages an annual awards program to promote
planning and recognise innovation and excellence in the built
environment, specifically in areas related to or involved in planning Victoria's cities, towns, regions and places. The Awards promote the important role of the planning profession in the
creation of Australia's built environment, and stimulate public
awareness of good planning.
The 2009 PIA Vic Awards Presentation Ceremony was held 16
October
with 13 Awards and 13 Commendations handed out across 16 categories. Visit our 2009 Awards page for more details about last year's winners across the various award categories.
Each year Victoria's Award Winners then go on to compete at the National Awards for Planning Excellence. These national awards recognise and acknowledge
quality, innovation and excellence in planning throughout Australia.
If you wish to enter you can download and complete an Entry Form and return it to the
PIA
Victorian Office by Friday 13 August 2010. Below also are links to the current 2010 Awards information in relation to entry criteria and conditions.
