Salary Range: $81,772-$88,168 (PN: 19295, several)

Under limited supervision, the successful applicants will be required to provide high level technical, professional and policy advice on a range of planning, biodiversity, sustainability, nature conservation and other issues in the context of urban and rural planning. They will also undertake urban and estate planning, policy development and implementation. 

As part of this role, the successful applicants will also prepare consultant briefs, undertake procurement and manage consultants undertaking environmental, town planning, infrastructure or land development related projects. They will review planning, environmental and/or infrastructure studies and investigations; analyse and advise on specialist investigations, legislation and best practice and identify the implications for major projects and policy development; prepare high level submissions, reports and other correspondence; as well as other duties as required. 

Eligibility/Other Requirements: Tertiary qualifications in Town Planning with at least five years experience in a similar role.

Note: Generous salary packaging, as well as the opportunity for either permanent or temporary placement can be negotiated for the right applicants.
