Narelle is currently Team Leader of Property Services and will generally cover who Powerlink are, and the processes they go through to acquire new easements and protect existing rights they hold in land.
Rick’s present position is Senior Engineer Lines Electrical Design at Powerlink Queensland, and he will be talking about electrical issues that need to be considered for development proposals in close proximity to high voltage electrical infrastructure.
Brandon is currently the Land Management Team Leader in the Network Property group, and will present an overview of Powerlink’s Co-use Guidelines, and areas considered in order to achieve better outcomes for development proposals on land encumbered by power line
easements.

Chris Schroor
Springfield Land Corporation
Chris is the Executive Director – Commercial Development for Springfield Land Corporation and has responsibility for all non-residential development activities. Chris has a passion toward transformation of the workplace and the reduction of overall business costs through innovative new applications of technology. He was responsible for the strategy behind building Springfield’s 72km dark fibre network, the Polaris Data Centre and Australia’s first Fibre to the Premises (FTTP) trial. He has also been successful in attracting alliance partners such as Energex, Telstra, NEC, Dalkia and APC.
Chris will cover the challenges involved in setting up a fibre to the Home community from the ground up.
