How We Plan for 'Liveable Communities': Learning from SA Experiences

The workshop is relevant to iolicy and strategic planners, social planners, statutory planners and community development workers interested in harnessing practical wisdom from past experiences in service of more liveable towns and cities.
Using two South Australian case studies, Seaford and Mawson Lakes, we will look at the planning tools that were used, the outcomes achieved, and the lessons learnt. Participants will be asked to dentify other approaches and tools, and share their own
work round liveability, healthy urban design and social infrastructure planning or both
infill and greenfields developments.
