    Noise and Acoustic Evidence

    This seminar will provide an overview of acoustic concepts, including measurements, frequencies, noise criteria, sleep disturbance and the impact of wind on noise. Presenters will discuss acoustic reports and the application of standards and measures, including State Environment Protection Policies and the role of noise buffers. The panel will also discuss tips and traps in the use and consideration of acoustic evidence in development proposals and VCAT proceedings.
